I am seeking advice on how to setup NL/ML converter, to destribute a line in signal ( cromecast Audio, etc) connetted to NL/ML, out on The Master link system.

NL/ML converter is setup as A.Slave.

Setup: Main room, BV12 with BS3- and Beomaster / Beosound 5. Kitchen BV10-32. Bedroom BV11-46.

Sourses visible on ML are all grayed out. IR mapping is set to A.Aux, and line in.

if I press A.Aux in main room, Beosound shows A.Aux on screen, but no sound from converter.

Unfortunately, a BLC set as A.slave cannot send any sound to ML. The line in can only go to locally connected speakers or (maybe) NL. Think of it as similar to BS Active.

Since it doesn't look like you have an audio master in your ML (unless the BS3 counts for this), you can configure your BLC as an Audio Master and then it can send audio to ML.

Otherwise, you need to connect to the line in of a ML device which the BLC could then send to NL (with a slight delay caused by the analog to digital conversion)

Upon further review, your BS5 is probably configured as an audio master. If so, I think your only choice is to connect to the BS5 via a "line in to USB" device.

In your system, in your setup: why connect the Chomecast to the NL/ML converter? Why not the system 3?

I'd use the coax/SPDIF on the BV11 for the Chromecast.

This allows you to give it 'friendly name' (e.g. GysseCast or BV11-Cast), that makes it easier to identify it in the Beomusic app.

Depending on your user habits, it could be wise to have more than one Cast device in the setup.

As Carolpa mentioned, it could be connected to the BSys3....as well.

If the BV11 is used, you could still cast to the one on the BSys3.

I have a chromecast audio connected to my ML/NL and it works very well. I love the way that I can not only cast, but also distribute multi-room. Also, I don't even have to cast to the ML device connected to the ML/NL, but can cast to any NL device within my home. Really great!

My setup may differ given you have a BS5 in the mix. Mine is setup as audio-master, which you may not be able to do? I am not an expert on these settings and needed a lot of advice from this forum to set things up right (thanks again to many of you). However, if I understand things correctly, you could set the ML/NL to "source center". This way, you should be able to get the chromecast into the mix.

The advantage from having googlecast audio connected to the ML/NL instead of to the Bsys3 is that you can cast to it audio-only directly from the Beomusic app. This is important for me as I don't want to mess around with the Beo4 P.Mute function everytime I'd like to play audio.

The BLC cannot be set to a "source center" when there is a Bs5 on the ML side.  The "source center" setting makes the BLC appear to be a BS5 (uses the N.Music and N.Radio ML sources to send music into ML), and there cannot be 2 N.Music/N.Radio.
