hi out there

I have added a chromecast audio as "tape"- and want this to be turned/powered when I turn on the 5500 -ideally would be when I activate "tape" but I can live with that it turns on when I turn on the 5500

It is powered by a USB cabel

Where would you suggest that I pull out the power for this on the 5500?

A master slave portable socket outlet might be another approach....

Hmm please tryk to Explain this a bit more in detail - I intended just to pullout 5v somewhere from the 5500 which could supply enough power when turned on but if a more flexible solution could be implemented?

I agree with Kallasr - a "strømspare-stikdåse" would do the trick. The 5500 would be master and the chromecast would be slave and turn on when the 5500 starts using power.

Office: Beomaster 3000-2 with Beovox P45 (all in white)

Living room: Beomaster 7000 and Beogram 7000 with Beovox RL 7000 (all in white)

Kitchen: Beocenter 2300 with Beovox 4500 (not available in white :-(

Why do you want it to turn on and off? It is a device that is supposed to be in at all times.

What I do is that I have a audio feed going to the chromecast at all times, and simply turn my audio master on and off.

"You think we can slap some oak on this thing?"
