Sadly I've never had the opportunity to hear a pair, as when they were in production there was no B&O dealer near me. I've always found pictures of the "red" Beolab 1s interesting, it's an odd shade of red, kind of a muted wine color rather than what I first thought of as red when I read about the color being offered. They are a striking looking speaker, elegant and modern and minimalist.

Razlaw:The system also includes a BV7-55 with BL20s in another room. The BV7-55 is the master. Thus if I spin the wheel on the Beosound 5 it turns the 20s on and adjusts their volume. The Essence remote adjusts the volume of the BL1s. Also can be used as a simple on/off remote.Finally, I had a hole in the wall where an old Beolink Active Kit eye had been located and needed to fill the hole. LOL

Extremely nice setup with the bordeaux red BL1, congratulations!
I will post some pictures but first will be moving house during February and will place an overall 6 BL1 at the new place...4 in black, 2 in silver.
