Hello,

My 8000 has fallen off track. I see the little white connector on the track.

I'm not able to find the issue in the service manual.

I'm new here, and can't figure out how to post pics.... I suspect that someone will see the issue be able to help out.

Thanks!

The "white connector"... is that the bushing on the threaded rod you can see?
If so, it will probably have lost two of its "shoulders", allowing the carriage to move away from it.
(Typical transport damage).

Hi Martin,

Yes,  the "white connector" ..... "Bushing of the treated rod" That is what I'm seeing.

Do you have a photo of it shoulders? Or any ideas where I could source them?

It's part of the bushing that has broken off.
It will most likely be intact at one end but not at the other.
