I decided to buy a Moment in January, main reason to give my Beolab 18 and 19 the best possible sound. Or that was the idea, after using the transmitter and a Sonos connect on top of that.
1. Got it home and installed it, was happy with the easy loadspeker settings. Remember my thoughts was "what could possible go wrong" Finaly a B&O media machine together with my preciouse speakers.
2. I was not happy for very long, the Moment stopped playing random. No logs in the player, and no logical time or service. It's the same as long as I dont use the line-in and play a lp. The wifi on the moment just is a big mess.
3. But I did'nt give up, I read all the threads here negative and positive ones. I decided to test it out, I called my local B&O center, and they was very helpful. As they say we have to find out why I got problems and other users have none.
4. a:) First they changed to another moment, just to be sure that it was not a monday machine. Did not help at all, it acted just as the first one.
b:) A bright idea from the dealer, we have had issues with the local routers. Can you change yours to one from Asus?... Yes I could, hel.. I did but no progress. Same ***, stopped again..
c:) Bright idea 3 well , turn of the 5g net. That is the problem they said. I turned it off, no progress on that one either.
d:) Then I changed my provider from adsl to fiber, and also got router number 3 on board. Did it fix it, nop same story playing some times for 1 minute other times for 1 hour.
5:) I have reset the box so many times at this point, that I can do it with a blindfol.
6:) Bought a A6 speaker, found out the obviouse. The A6 player keep pumping out music when the Moment stops. Even when they are in the same groupe.
So I am giving up, I will return it to the shop and go for the transmitter and the wheel. Guess I will go for one Ipad as the source.
I am really sorry this didn't work. I wanted the moment, I think the consept is brilliant. But as in all electronics products. You really dont get that many chances from you customers, we all love the brand and their products. And that made me go the extra mile and try and try and try....
For those of you that have a moment that is stabil, luck you. No envy from me, just should have had that luck myself.
Cheers
Henry

I think it's pretty well documented that the Moment is a compleat buggy disaster. Save tons of money and get more functionality by using an iPad.

Welcome to Henry on Beoworld!
My suggestion - if you haven't already returned it, maybe you should wait untill the new software has been released.
And maybe you should even give the way, that Hiort has connected his Soundheart, a try.
I think it is worth it - this way at least some of the 'wifi-trouble' can be avoided.
MM
There is a tv - and there is a BV
I'd wait two more weeks until the new software is installed....
Hiort:Mine is hardwired using power line plugs. No dropouts. With the new firmware its super.
@Henry
also wired connection Soundheart. Now it works great with the new sw. So wait at least till the new sw.
Wireless: even if only the Soundhub is connected with wifi, be sure the router isn't set to auto channel selection. Choose channel 4,6 or 11 (use insider (windows) or "Wifi analyser" (android) to select the best channel)
So it's been 2 years now of B&O trying to fix this thing with firmware updates without much success, but the new firmware apparently fixes everything? I'll believe it when I see it.

I have the same experience, the Moment is a daily headache. Even with the new software.
Mine will absolutely not connect to the Wifi if there's a password on it. I have the B&O recommended Cisco Meraki WiFi in my house, and the only way it will connect is if I disable the password on the network. Great for security.
I also had to disable automatic channel mapping in order to maintain a stable wireless connection to the speakers, which seems to have impacted the network performance for other devices. It simply astonishing that the high-end product in the range is the only one that doesn't play nice with modern day networks, while all the Beoplay products have no problems.
It's a huge mess of a product, and coming from a Beoplay A9 with Spotify Connect, the Moment seems like a proof of concept from 10 years ago, rather than a mature product in 2017.
Usability has improved somewhat with the new software, but it's still claustrophobic. If I have an album from the same artist on my NAS and a liked album from the same artist on Deezer, I will now have two entries for that artist whenever I browse the collection. They have the same name, so why not just one?
Want to search for an artist and see all albums from that artist? Well, too bad, you'll get all kinds of stuff mixed in with the search result.
Then there's the daily stability issues to the point that my wife will not use the thing because "it doesn't work anyway". And the ever relevant question "why didn't you keep the A9 so I could use Spotify?"
The new software brings much needed improvement, but it's not a game changer. Far from it.
HenryII:For those of you that have a moment that is stabil, luck you.
It has nothing to do with luck. Most people tend to forget that a wireless network is still complex material. Even if you think my network is good, it still depends on diverse factors not related to B&O.

Did you check your metadata of the album entirely, you did? Really? One example: Is there not and artist in the album who just sings a duo with another artist? And listed in the metadata.
"Believe nothing you read and only half of what you see, let your ears tell you the truth."
ThatGuyFromDenmark:Even with the new software

my wife says the new updated 2.0 software is a great improvement and started to use the Moment daily now. Does not ask questions anymore neither complains. Think that says it all.

I don't get the hostility, but anyway.
New software = 2.x software.
Yes, artists with simple names will show up twice, once for local and once for Deezer. No funny stuff going on with special editions or whatnot. I have attached a screenshot so you can see for yourself.

Second, WISA uses frequences near 5GHz, just like most modern WiFi networks, so using automatic channel mapping on my WiFi network interfered with the speaker connections. Recommendation from my dealer was to disable automatic channel mapping on the WiFi, no problems with speaker connections since. I was not suggesting that the speakers are connected to WiFi as you seem to think.
I have attached a screenshot from the Meraki console so you can see what I mean.

Also, you're ignoring the fact that I currently have 14 wireless devices connected to my network and the ONLY device that have problems is the Moment. No issues with the Beoplay A9, with the $40 Google Chromecast or any other device.
So while wireless networks are complex as you say, it seems that most manufacturers have been able to make it work reliably, including B&O in their Beoplay products.
Sorry to hear about all those issues.
I never had any WiFi, WISA issue with my Moment acquired when it went out on the market, but I made sure about the following:
The SoundHeart is wired to the NetworkThere is no 5Ghz around (my Apple Airport was interfering too much and different setup didn't help)
Various SoundHeart and JukeBox updates have solved .... or introduced different issues, but what is coming week 9 is surely a big stability and functionality improvement.

B&O product history since 1991: Ridiculously long to list in a signature.
KMA:Is this disaster based on Android, too? If yes, I see a pattern with Moment, BV14 and Horizon – in other words, with B&O and Android.
Disaster?
Horizon......... I had some minor issues, but it never failed us, I enjoy it every day when we watch.
So I cannot confirm your suspect
Hiort:Disaster?
KMA:It was unveiled two years ago at CES, and it's effectively been beta tested by customers during the past 1,5 years, perhaps finally reaching a mature state with the release of the next update. Great concept, poor execution: a cheap Android tablet in a fancy casing & a system plagued with bugs and seamingly never-ending wifi issues. That's a disaster, in my opinion KMA B&O product history since 1991: Ridiculously long to list in a signature.
StUrrock:Can't argue with that! Look on the bright side, since the introduction of the BeoSound Moment. Sales of paper clips (best tool for resetting the bleeding thing!) have apparently soared!
vlohjr1:Usage seriously went up last year for me
