You can now download the new app in Apple's App Store.
The new app merges the content of the existing Bang & Olufsen Apps (BeoMusic, BeoSetup, BeoRemote, BeoLab 90 and BeoLink) into one app.

@Roger
Those videos must show the Android version.
Anyway - gives you a hint of what is coming.
By the way - did you notice in the setup video the one product named 'Trump', which was 'unreachable' ;-)))

@millemissen
Yeah, good observation - is this to allow for two way audio monitoring?

is this to allow for two way audio monitoring?
We'll have to ask the 'Cloud team' in Struer to know :-O
If the screenshot/Youtube is from the Android version of the app, maybe we don't have to wonder ;-)

I'm curious why the B&O app is asking to sign up for an account? I really dislike having to be made to sign up for an account to just use an app. If they want data, just ask the user as a terms of service or within the app, rather than an account requirement. Unless they have other plans up their sleeve.

I was so excited for this app, but it seems to be a nightmare of bizarrely pieced-together features with not much of clear interface.
I typically start a music stream from my Moment and then add the BeoPlay A9. Not a simple task now.
1. the initial screen is full of album covers from deezer. i don't use deezer. I have a DLNA. none of my own albums or playlists. Why?
2. to get to multi-room, the quirky landscape mode is gone, as is the group button. Now one must click not he current device icon (?!?) then tap the small obscure group icon, then then tap a plus sign. Then tap a back button to get back to the previous screen. (same weird process to remove a device from multi-room).
3. to adjust the volume on a multi-room device, one must tap the currently used device icon, then tap the icon of the other device, then use a sliding button to adjust volume, then tap the back button to go back to the previous screen.
4. Double tapping the bottom bar made me hopeful as i brought up something like the older app. yet the new screen does little. No album art displayed, the only thing you can do from this screen is like a track, change the source of the device (why is Deezer + DLNA a combined choice?), scrub though a us the familiar navigation and volume buttons. there is no way to view a playlist or change to another playlist.
5. I don't see any way to access music on my DLNA server. No way to find artists in my collection, no way to find playlists in my collection. The only thing accessible under Music is a bunch of "top" albums, artists, and playlists that have nothing at all to do with me.
Did I miss something? the instruction videos review the only intuitive elements of the app, which are connecting to wifi and adding a device.
Yikes!
@johnbrks
I assume that you mean the new Bang & Olufsen app.
This is not supposed to replace the Beomusic app - not yet.
It is (or will be) more than that, when finished.
There are a lot of the functions from the recent app (as you wrote), that aren't there.
The team has decided to release versions of it along the way, so that we can participate in the progress (if we want to).
This is a good thing, as I see it - a more open way to do things than before.
