The BeoSound 3 Mk2 is dead. There is no indication on the LED display. There was a broken wire in the lead from the 15 V charger but this has been fixed. The BeoSound 3 takes about 38 mA from the 15 V charger. With the BeoSound 3 internal battery disconnected this drops to about 33 mA.
Perhaps the first step would be to try a replacement Power Module (2Module 8008028 PCB2, Power & SD slot) but I do not have one available.
Any advice would be appreciated.
