I have a B&O System consisting of BEOGRAM 8000, BEOMASTER 8000 and the BEOCORD 9000 which I purchased new in Bahrain.
My system is not working. I had taken the BEOGRAM 8000 to the B&O dealer is Bahrain and they claimed to have repaired this.
My BEOMASTER is not working, as such I tried connecting this turntable to my DENON AVR 2809 Receiver. However, this does not work.
Can someone tell me if it is possible to connect my BEOGRAM 8000 to the DENON AVR 2809 and how do I go about doing this.
Where can I get me Beomaster 8000 and Beocord 9000 repaired?
Hi Jayant,
Welcome to Beoworld! For B&O repairs, I can recommend Simon at AVA Services in Crawley, England. You can reach him via his website www.avaservices.co.uk
As this Denon amplifier doesn’t have a pre-amp, you will need a pre-amp to connect the Beogram 8000, this bundle comes with all cables needed and full instructions, ready to “plug and play”:-
http://soundsheavenly.com/beogram-record-players/12--preamp-.html – please choose the “Twin RCA plugs” output option for your Denon amplifier.
If you can please email me to request a male DIN cable for Beogram 8000, I will ensure that you get the correct cables with the bundle.
Kind regards, Steve.
Steve.
