Since yesterday I don't receive notifications from the forum in my mail, anybody else have the same problem ?

Collecting Vintage B&O is not a hobby, its a lifestyle.

I sent you an email via the forum, did you receive it?

I now know that there is a problem, not with the forum, but an apparent network fault in the German data centre.

Seems to be a problem.

Peter Pan told me yesterday, that he doesn't get any either.

And the option to mark 'send message, when....' is missing too (on the website above the thread).

Not true, the tick box when you reply is there and never changed, see below

As previously stated, we have a network issue which stops the forum server accessing the SMTP server

Thanks Keith.

As far as I remember there was an option located at the top of the thread.

However, if this works it'll be fine.

Personally I never use 'notifications', since I regularly/many times daily scroll through all threads for new threads and answers.

Just passing on, what Peter Pan told me.

I will immidiately send him a mail with the link to this thread ;-)

I can confirm that the email problem which I reported to you yesterday has been resolved 10 minutes ago at 18:05 UK time.

The problem stopped all outgoing Internet traffic from the server where the address needed to be resolved by the DNS server.
As the only outgoing traffic from the forum using the DNS server was email, the rest of the system was not affected.

The problem was caused by a fault on the DNS server at our ISP in Germany and we have now been switched to another DNS server.

Any e-mail's sent via the forum since last Sunday morning will need to be sent again.

If you sent a conversation rather than an email, then the person would still have got the conversation, but would not get an email to tell them that a conversation had arrived.
