Dear all, first post for me. Is it possible to connect a graphic equaliser to beocenter 9300, and if so, how is it done ? Best wishes, Sam

Welcome.

There is a dedicated equaliser connection in fact.

Among the connections at the rear of the unit, you will see a socket marked I think,"line in /out",with a blank piece fitted.Pull the blank out to reveal a Din connection. All you need(in addition to the equaliser!)is a 5 pin din plug to 4 rca connector cable.Connect this cable between the BC9300 and the corresponding line in/out connections on your equaliser.

The colour codes of the rca connectors vary between manufacturers, and you need of course to establish which is in/out and left/right?

If you are in the U.K.you could buy a suitable cable from Maplin, and they should be able to tell you the connector detail.

Otherwise,Steve at Sound's Heavenly, may be able to help?

n.b.removing the blank link will interrupt the signal path in the Beocentre,so you will need to power the equaliser whenever using the Beocentre.

Regards,

Nick
