The latest update to the Beoplay app enables ToneTouch on M5, and it's working good Big Smile

I checked it. My M5 doesn't have TouchTone.

 

You need both an updated Beoplay app, and an updated M5.

You get the Tonetouch feature in the Beoplay app and not through the Beosetup app.

It has already hanged on me twice, while in the Tonetouch pane. No wifi on the phone it says. Not true.

Now the M5 'crashed' - just stopped playing.

I think that the Beoplay and X app cannot co-exist on my iPhone. I've had so many errors and strange glitches going back and forth between the two that I stopped counting. What a mess.

I'll stay with the X app for now. Don't have time for this. Jeez.

Uninstalling Beoplay.

I talked to a dealer the other day. He was frustrated that the M5 doesn't have the same basic bass & treble tone controls as the A6.

Anybody know if it's on it's way? I'm considering returning my latest M5, while I still can.

I tried the funktion.

Had to restart the app since it said I had no wifi.

Can't say the tonetouch made much difference.

It's more evident on my A2.

Agreed .... I wondered if it was due to my old ears! That said bass have drastically reduced since the upgrade, and you can even reduce them more with the app, and I think this is what we were all looking for. What's funny is that my BeoPlay Touch Tone setting are the opposites between M5 and H5 :-)
