The FM AFC control is stuck ON in my Beomaster 1600. My restorer missed this, unfortunately.
I know these switches are problematic, but what would be the best way to disable this switch? Better still, how can I "unstick" this switch and keep this 1600 original?
I really NEED to be able to fine tune my FM reception in order to receive KING-FM 98.1 classical radio from Seattle. All my BM's are tuned to this station except this one.
My father-in-law is coming over for dinner in the very near future, and it would be a perfect event IF I could tune in the Beomaster 2400.2 AND my newly acquired Beomaster 1600 to a station he would actually enjoy.
You guys can't possibly imagine this, but I can.
The man is 90, difficult, and unforgiving, and these little achievement could well make the difference between success and failure evening.
Thank you kindly.
Jeff
