Hi,

I recall that a similar issue was reported (Hjort?), couldn't find that topic - but my 1 week old BS1 just stopped playing.

The little speaker light is on, tapping on the tab will make touch button flash briefly but nothing more than that. No sounds of connecting (a bit louder beep that is).

Can't connect via network / bluetooth. Any suggestions on what to do? I unplugged it but later realised it has a battery Embarrassed. Just so typical, as 5 minutes before I told my wife how much I liked it.

There is a power button underneath to switch off altogether.

Did you check that the software is up to date when you bought? there has been a recent update released.

You cold also try a reset using the pin hole underneath.

Thanks Opman!

Software was updated to latest version, and the unit (now) diesn't react to either power- or reset button.

I'll go through the manual tomorrow and have a word with my (new) B&O dealer.

I found that one time I did a NL power off for multiroom when it powered of all my devices and it wouldn't come back on

When you turn it off do you press just once quickly or do you hold it down?

When you hold it down it is also the NL Power off

What I had to do I take it out the power and then pressed the power button down the bottom

Dear all,

My BS1 has come back to life, including all settings - so I have apparantly not resetted it. Hmmmmm

This morning (battery dead) I powered up and unit played like normal. Very strange - but solved Big Smile

Well, not so good sa far - unfortunately.

A few times already my wife finds the BS1 just going on by itself at very loud volume. When turned off, by tapping on the top, it goes on again by itself. Latest firmware, no timers programmed, only plaing Tune-in or directly from iDevice via network.

Now it showing red light - my wife has resetted the unit - or at least tried.

Is a trip to my B&O dealer the next step to take?

I would swap it under warranty.

Note however that the BS1 is sensitive to wifi signal strength. Use BeoTool to see what signal strength you have.

Not implying that this is the problem you have but worth knowing.
