Hello everyone, so I recently bought new sorrounds for my b&o s45 speakers. Only problem is that I don't have a clue on how to remove the woofers themselves, does anyone know if it is possible on this model? I've loosened every screw but it the woofer is still stuck, should I just glue the sorrounds on with the cover still on?

Hi.

After the 8 recessed screws are removed the whole front panel including the drivers can be lifted away. It might need a bit of gentle persuasion and don't forget will need to reach inside to disconnect the drivers before pulling away completely.

The bass driver can then be removed from the panel.

Good luck.

They can bind immensely. Grab the woofer metal and use your thumbs on the plastic surround to lever it off.

I've already removed all the screws and the front panel, the only thing I'm having trouble with is removing the bass driver, it's completely stuck.

As you can see in the picture, I've removed the front panel, and all the screws, but the driver is still won't budge at all

Yes, it's just stuck in the rubber ring. They all do this.
Do as I said above; Grab around one of the four metal "struts" of the woofer basket with both hands and, placing your thumps on the
edge of surrounding plastic, press the woofer free.
It takes a good amount of "controlled force".

Thank you! that worked like a charm, I've cleaned all the glue and rubber away from the woofer and now I'm ready to glue the new one on! I wanted to ask something else though, would it be a good idea to replace the 2-pin DIN cables that connect to the speakers entirely? they're just really crusty looking and way too long for my setup, they work fine enough, but it would be nice to have some better ones.

Thank you in advance :)
