Good evening. I'm sorry if this have been brought up before, but I can't seem to find a similar tread.

I have a Beosound 3000 mk2 connected to a pair of Beolab 4000 in my bedroom. In my livingroom I have a Essence mk2 connected to a Transmitter 1, to two Receiver 1 and a pair of Beolab 6000. I want to connect my 3000 to this wireless multiroom setup. Playing CD's from the 3000 in the livingroom and internet radio from the Essence in my bedroom etc. Wich setup and solution will be most suitable in this case?

Best regards

Kristian

You need an nl/ml converter connected by master link to the 3000 and by CAT 6/7 WIRED to the Essence. Additionally, you need an ML/NL delay box between the 3000 and the Converter in order to prevent an echo. Note that with the delay box, you cannot use any wireless NL. I'm not quite sure if the wireless transmitter / receiver would pose any issue with the delay box. Also, you must set the proper delay in the Converter setup to work with the delay box. For the Converter the setting for NL delay wired AND wireless is 50ms. Th settling for ML delay is 143ms.

I must correct myself. The delay box is not going to prevent an echo if speakers are connected to the ML audiomaster, i.e. the 3000. If you want to prevent an echo, the Beolab 4000 speakers would need to be connected to another ML device. For example, you could have the speakers connected to a BeoVision or BeoSystem or to a BeoLink Active.
