Hi all.
Having looked through the entire internet, to find sources of VAM1250 lasers, I found a company in Germany that sells "new from factory" VAM1250 lasers, and one arrived today.
It is clearly a used laser, and does not work either. I heard a rumour once that B&O bought the last stock of these lasers to support the BS9000 MKIII and others that used this laser, is that true ?
Are there actually sources of new lasers out there. B&O will not sell the cd drive as parts, they require the unit to be fixed at them. This is not viable regarding the cost of repair contra the price of the units of the second hand marked.
