I have an MX6000.

When I disconnect the power lead from wall socket going on vacation or when it's lightning, then I connect the mains lead again, the red LED doesn't want to power up, TV gets no power I can't turn it on.

In the past it took approx 4-5hrs before the red LED power up, other times it took 48hrs for red LED to power up, last time it took the whole 5 days for red LED to power up!!!

I was really pis-ed off why my TV is jerking me off with the standby problems.

Now I'm afraid to disconnect the mains lead from wall socket and my TV will take forever to power up.

B & O made a huge flaw designing these MX series without fitting a proper ON/OFF switch!

My Q is did MX8000 suffer the same standby problems like my MX6000?

I have found a used MX8000 from 2002, I don't know if I should waste my money on this old CRT tv if this MX8000 suffers the same standby problems like my old MX6000

Does anyone know what other problems MX8000 had?

What year does model number 9100 have? Is this a TV model year 2002?

Thank you for your help  as I need the information ASAP!
