Own a 7-40 MK4 and have sometimes some moving red shadows in the darker parts or around edges .  Comes and go's after a short time and stays away the de rest off the rest off the evening . Putting the tv off and on is also stopping it .

looks a bit like a T-Con fault but any other course for this behaviour ?  Thanks

Had the same issue on a BV 7-55. A defective graphic card was the cause. It was replaced, and all went back to normal.

And was it expensive to change the module ?

I was lucky enough the tv was still under warranty. Didn’t pay anything.

Sorry to be the bearer of bad news (potentially), but if it's a Mk4, with the red shadows and colour distortion, it's almost certainly going to be the panel.

Mk4's had a bad 'batch' of panels, which failed sooner or later.  Similar issues on the Mk3 were usually another component (PIM Module), but the Mk4 having problems is the end of the TV in 85% of cases.

Is there any way to post a picture off my problem to this message ? Maybe that would be easier to show the sometimes  problem .

Definitely sounds like the panel is on its way out. I had one do it a while ago.

i now have a V1-32 with the same issue. Thankfully it was only $50
