So I have got myself a Cona and an MCL2P which I would like to connect to my BV8-40. I have connected a powerlink cable to the SUB outlet of the DD module however when I select speakers 5 the MCL2P does not switch on. Does anybody have any ideas what could be wrong?

Thanks!

You have to use  fully wired powerlink mk2 cable in order for it to get the power on signal. I had the excact same problem myself

If there is a little triangle marking on the connectors it is an MK3 cable. The MK2 cable is also thicker because of the more wires. But the thickness is no guarantee as you ca see in this thread where I had the same problem http://archivedforum2.beoworld.org/forums/p/1129/9481.aspx#9481

I you have some different Powerlink cables I suggest you try them on or else talk to your dealer and he will be able to get you an MK2 cable
