Looks like my Eprom Chip has gone mustang on my Beogram 8002.

Told it is now unrepairable. Any suggestions to alternate fixes?

"Unrepairable" is just a way to tell you they don't have the skills.
Blaming a component not found in the deck I suppose just confirms that theory...
(There's no EPROM in Beogram 8002)

What are the symptoms?

I have yet to come across a non-working Beogram 8002 where the microcomputer IC was bad. Of course it is possible but it is just not common. An unrestored Beogram 800x type turntable can exhibit all types of failures. A lot of them seem to result in owners quickly blaming the computer chip or solid state devices like transistors. The most common types of problems are failed capacitors (or badly out of tolerance capacitors) and connection problems. After those things it is quite often a sensor or lamp. Make sure those other options have been wrung out before considering a bad IC or solid state component.
