Guys
Ive owned my Beovision 10-32 from brand new for about 4-5 years now and never really asked the question why it can't handle dolby digital via a HDMI in??
This is my kitchen TV and i have to use a separate Sky Q Box set to stereo for it to produce sound.
Is this defiantly correct considering the stickers on the inside of the TV show the Dolby Digital markings?
I guess i'm double checking that after all this time its not an issue with the TV or a setting that i just haven't turned on???
Also does anyone know of someone in the essex area who can update the PUC to the latest Sky Q software - Im still having to double click the remote.
Many thanks!
im not looking for surround sound just for it to be able to take a dolby sound signal and play it
as soon as sky q is set to dolby digital it doesn't produce any sound at all??
Why do you want the box to send a Dolby Digital signal to the tv?
As far as I understand your posts it works, when the box is set to stereo (which would mean, that it is decoding the audio before sending it).

There is a tv - and there is a BV
