V1 wireless adapter

Does anybody know whether other USB wireless adapters would work with the V1? Its just that the one supplied with the TV is so big that I can't fit cables at the back of the TV.

I am pretty sure that the V1 wireless adaptor is actually just a wireless antenna (probably powered/active) - the actual wireless card is inside the TV.  Hence you should be able to attach any wireless antenna as long as it has the same connector for the back of the TV.  My Dell desktop has a similar arrangement and the Dell wifi antenna looks similar in size to the Beoplay one, and may even have the same connection.  See here:

Alternatively, you could use the V1's RJ45 network socket and route that to the wifi adaptor of your choosing, maybe something like this:
