Beolink Passive Amplifier Type 1656 without IR-eye

Is it possible to use the 1656 without the IR-eye? I have connected it to a Beolink Converter 1611, but it doesn't seem to turn on.

You must use a fully wired PL cable - otherweise the amp won’t turn on/off.

Hi MokiPhone,

Yes, Millemissen is correct, you need a fully wired Powerlink mk.2 cable like this otherwise the Passive won't switch on:-
