greetings all,

I have almost finished my BG4004 restoration.......being a US model type 5526 i have to use a step-down transformer.

The incoming the AC voltage at the BG is about 26VAC. The question is could I change the US transformer

for a european transformer with voltage selector that delivers about 32VAC ?? It would be nice to run that table without that step-down unit.

Would somebody advise me here ? Thank you 🙄🙄😁

Thank you to all intersted parties - as the BG only has about 20W power consumtion I have decided

to go with a small  100Watt step-down instead of risking electrical damage with supplying over-voltage

via a transformer unsuitable for this particular 4004 version.

those transformers must differ ever so sligthly in their voltage output depending on version perhaps because of DC or AC motor versions ?!
