Dear all,
Firstly I apologise if I'm not supposed to post items to give away without a silver membership - I assumed since I'm not charging it would be okay - but happy to remove the post if it falls foul of the rules.
I have a set master control link boxes and a couple of trancievers available to anyone in need of them. They were previously connected to my bombaster 7000 and provided multi-room audio in my old setup. I've since retired the MCL setup and in favour of master link, having invested in a master link gateway to interface with my home automation system.
As far as I'm aware all items are in full working order, but they haven't been used for over a year and they are very old; however I've no reason to suspect they are faulty in any way.
I have 4 x MCL2a and 2 x MCL2AV boxes, plus 3 transceivers (the grey versions) one of which is missing a front cover. Although the MCL stuff is old it did provide a lot of entertainment for me and my wife over the years and I'm too sentimental to chuck it in the bin so it's free to the first person who registers an interest!
Preferably collection from Brighton but happy to discuss postage options.
All the best
Luke
Hi Luke,
I was following your eBay listing and actually purchased a transceiver and VX sensor! Don't be confused about my location as I have asked you to send them to my daughter in UK. My mother-in-law still has an MCL system, hence I needed a couple of spares (I already have lots of other bits). I don't need any more otherwise I'd be pleading with my daughter to drive down to Brighton!
It's a shame that you didn't sell more; the MCL kit works very well, much better than any of this new fangled networked stuff!
I hope that you manage to find a good home for the other items!
Guy
Thanks Guy - yes I think I might have put people off trying to be as honest as possible about the kit; It definitely worked last time I used it, but I get a bit nervous about eBay and I don't want to think I'm misleading anyone.
Anyhow it's all gone to good homes now and I hope your daughter gets good use out of the kit!
I agree that the MCL2 system, especially when used with two way remotes, was absolutely amazing. I've not tried the new nettlink stuff (I've got a pretty heavy investment in masterlink) but I hear very good things. When it's time for a new Beovision I'll invest in the NL/ML converter and move with the times I suppose!
