Anyone have it?
Or do anyone know what is this IC?
blah-blah and photographs as needed
It's a processor with the firmware in mask programmed ROM. In short, a custom part made for B&O and it cannot be replaced with anything generic from another source.

+1 what Mika said.
On a related note; I do have the manual (it's part of MCL service manual). I believe I sent the files for adding to the site but I don't think it got thrue...
Anyway, here is one part of it. (No, the manual doesn't state the functions of the various test points unfortunately...)
Special chip indeed, but very rarely fails.Nearly all problems with the BL1000 relate to the keyboard contacts becoming contaminated. You couldn't do much with the later versions as the contact film was sealed.
I have a drawer full of these pcb's if your chip is us,but you will need to desolder very carefully if you want to try and transplant one.

Yes, special chip. I asked because I like to see if there is anything going on.
I have two unfunctioning remotes on my desk. I did test couple of contacts by measurement from through holes of pcb, and at least those were ok.
Thank you Iausvi.
