What is the best way of connecting BeoLab 8000 to BeoMaster 5500?

Line out. If I remember correctly it has volume adjustment 

"You think we can slap some oak on this thing?"

Being picky, but I think that the volume controlled output is actually called 'PRE OUT' on the BM5500.  The connectors are just below the passive speaker sockets.

Hi Pat,

Yes, Guy is correct.  You should see a pair of RCA/phono sockets on the rear panel of the Beomaster marked “Pre-Amp Out Left/Right”, the following cable will connect from the pre-out sockets on the Beomaster into the “Line” sockets of the Beolab 8000 speakers:-

Please set both speakers to “Line” mode using the small switch next to the input sockets.
