The vintage B&O cabinet (MC 30 or SC20, SC 70 SC 77) were available in différent wood finition (rosewood, teac and oak as far as I know)

but do you know if the metal feet (stand) of theses cabinet were also available in different finition or
or was it only the silver Aluminium finition ?

thanks for sharing your knowledge

In my opinion all MC/SC cabinets stands/ feet were finished in silver/alu look. Only for the very few big Beovox types (I think M75/100) there were stands in black finish.

Although not complete (at least black and white version of SC17 are missing), following pictures offer a good overview over the SC/MC cabinets:

Thanks Theomaster for your nice global view of the B&O cabinets

I did not thought about black or white painted feet/stand (but why not) !!

I was much more thinking about chrome plated feet in addition to Alu feet.

Purely my opinion of course but I think chrome would be a huge mistake. Chrome is for 1950s Cadillacs replete with bling.

You will notice that very little chrome was used by B&O during the time that Jensen was in charge of design. To me, chrome is the very antithesis of the design ethic of B&O during this wonderful period.

Once again, purely my personal opinion – good luck with the project!

.....just don't use chrome :-)

Had a few of these - the MC40, which I still have, is my favourite. Very nicely finished and lots of wire channels for those who hate seeing them!!
