I recently acquired a Beocom 2, seemingly in very good condition. However, the navigation joystick was either cunningly repaired by the seller so I didn't initially notice there was an issue - or perhaps I was a bit careless and just worked it too hard!
Anyway, the little joystick part has broken off, and I was wondering if anyone knew of a way to repair this? I don't know if the 'superglue' route is worth trying, or of I should just look for a donor phone (probably a bit hard to come by in Australia...).
I've just replaced the battery and the phone works really well, and I can move the navigation 'stump' with a screwdriver to set the clock etc. - but it would be great to have the joystick work as it should again. If anyone has had any success re-attaching the joystick, I'd be grateful for your advice.
