Dear forum
Do you know why I cannot see my BS Essence at my Bang and Olufsen app? I can only see my Beolink Converter ML/NL. So i cannot turn the volume up and down at the app. I will upload i picture also.
Livingroom: BL3, BL11, BV11-46 Kitchen: Beosound 1 GVA, Beocom 2 Bathroom: M3 Homeoffice: M3, Beocom 2 Library: Beosound Emerge, Beocom 6000 Bedroom: M5, Essence remote Travel: Beoplay E8 2.0, Beoplay EQ, Beoplay Earset
Power down all NL sources - especially any TV connected to the MLNL Converter.
Power down all Beoplay WiFi sources
Reboot TV (if applicable), then Converter, then everything else.
Are you using any Powerline products?
I have reset my essence without any luck and also started up my router and converter more times.
I don't make any sense that my converter plays tunein as it don't have tunein
Everything has been restarted more times
please see screen shot below
I don't know how many of you that understands danish - but it say that the beolink converter is in a intergrated setup with beosound essence. Do any of you know what that means and if I can get rid of that?

Mind me asking what is your complete setup? May assist in trying to diagnose your problem.
Also, have you downloaded BeoTool app if you have iOS access?

This is now a „feature“ as Thomas wrote me a while ago, because my BS-Moment disappeared from the start-page. The main use case for this was for the Essence MKII and the BeoSound Core. You can‘t do anything but sending Thomas Andersen a eMail, explaining your setup and this issue. As far as I remember, he wrote to me, that they are working on a setting-page, were the customer can choose, if he wants to have the essence integrated. This new integration was done, because B&O thought it is better, than handeling 2 separate devices. I disagree with this feature and your setup is another proof for my opinion.Don‘t waste any more time on this 3rd. Advent in soving tgis issue, since you will need Thomas help.CheersBeroli

I support Beroli´s recommendation, but was just curious what you see when you open the B&O app and:

I forgot to offer more important insight, I got from B&O earlier regarding the integrated setup. It seems that one of the two products are still returning information to the app indicating that it is part of an integrated setup. In the app, B&O is asking all products about their integrated setup status in the background while using a B&O specific protocol. Sometimes there are situations where e.g. product A indicates that it is integrated with product B but product B does not indicate that it is part of an integrated setup. In these scenarios, the App is forcing to choose and the current implementation will choose to believe product A and therefore create the integrated setup.
In the old BeoMusic App I choose to integrate the Essence (product B) in my Office with my BV-TV (product A) in the Living room. I did that, because I still wanted to listen to Music, while testing the BeoSound Moment Beta-software in different NAS-setting. While the Moment was not available, I used the Essence as a backup. It worked perfect. Later, when the new Bang & Olufsen App came around, I decided to do a factory reset on my essence and accidentally ticked the Box for integrated setup again. Because of that the Office-Essence disappeared from the start screen. Even if I unticked the integrated setting box, the Essence stayed hidden.
After writing to B&O, they explained what happened and told me to check if somehow the TV still thinks it is still integrated with the Essence. I checked and I found, that the Essence was not listed there. I activated the integration with the Essence on the TV and deactivated it later again. After a restart the Essence was visible again in the start screen. It seemed, that somehow the TV was still telling to the app, that the integration is intended.
Therefore my advice would be, to sever the integration on booth devices, by doing a factory reset and a first setup again without choosing the integration. But your NL-ML-Converter needs to be in fact integrated with the Essence in order to connect the Essence to your TV. I don’t know, if this still works, if the integration is not chosen. Maybe there is a new update for the Converter to handle this scenario.
If not B&O will ask you to do the following:
1. Go to Settings->About and long-press the icon, the select Extend Logging
2. Browse around in the app for a minute or two, just allowing the background stuff in the app a chance to execute
3. Go to Settings->Feedback and submit a feedback, just mentioning issues with integrated setup
They will grab your feedback and forward it to the person in charge, maybe will confirm this theory.
I hope this explanation will help you to solve the issue.
Cheers Beroli

When my NL-ML-Converter and BV8 were both working (past summer), it did not need to be integrated to connect my Essence to my TV. I would turn on my TV, select TV on my NL-ML, then "join" my Essence to the NL-ML. At the time the B&O app didn't support multi-room so this was with the BeoMusic app.

Then the solution for the question should be a a factory reset on booth devices without ticking the integrated setting box during the first setup.
Thank you Stan.
Master123456789:This is mine. If I don’t ude the integreted, will then the multiroom work?
Yes, it will.
The main purpose of the "integration" is to let the system know if you have e.g. a BeoVision Avant and a Moment in the living room, that are integrated since the speakers are only connected to the BeoVision. If you are listening on a different device in your home, and would like the living room to join by using the app, the system/app will know that both the Moment and the BeoVision will have to be active. The new range of BeoVision's are a bit different (currently only the Eclipse) since the Core is built into the TV. There will be plenty of confusion over this theme

I have tried to change the first one to none (as seen on my danish screen shot) Did not make any difference. And have restarted app, essence and beolink converter.
