Hi All -

I was able to connect the Beolab 18 to the BOtransmitter 1 and then through the RJ45 cable to the beosound essence MKII box.

However I am not able to control the volume by using the beo essence wheel.

Please let me know a solution to this.

Thanks in advance!

Have you paired the Essence Remote to the essence box? Or have you confirmed that the essence remote is paired. Are any other functions on the remote working?

Hi Sal -

Yes the remote wheel is paired with the essence box.

Prior to connecting the transmtter to the essence box, the essence box was connected to my beosound 14 4.1 system and I was able to control the volume using the wheel.

Maybe I should reset the essence box and pair it again..dont know.

Thanks,

Bis.

When all else fails, reset and re-pair. That’s what I’ve done when things go amiss with my essence and remote.
