I can't remember how exactly. But there really is no point in doing so. The app cannot control any settings, it doesn't even show up in the main page of the app. You need to go into your user profile and list all your products. If the Beolit is online, you can go into its webpage with settings. So no app integration of anything.
Beolit 12 - Beolab 4 pc (dead now) - Beoplay H5 - Beolab 9 - BeoRemote One BT - Beoplay M3
I did more or less the same as Lawrence.Connect the BeoLit12 with ethernet, is the easies way to get to the built-in configuration tool (the webpage).
In there you will find Wi-Fi settings, the settings options are quiet old and a bit confusing so it might take some tries to get it right. The BeoLit won't connect through Wi-Fi as long as it has an Ethernet connection, so remember to unplug that cable for each try.
As a final notice, the BeoLit 12 won't show up as an product in the B&O app, but you get a shortcut to the web server through your profile in the app.
It's not really needed IMHO since I use AirPlay most of the time to stream to the device.
I hope that you soon can enjoy your music ;)
