Dear friends of Beoworld!
Hoping gettin more response I allow to post my question within general forum:
Not having uploaded music for a long time I lost the clue how I got my music from my Mac (Mojave) to the BM5; as Beoconnect not working for years now I can remember that I found the BM within my files (finder) and was able to move music files directly to the directory on BM5 (music);
now I can find the BM within "network"; lan scan tells me the IP; but I am not able to "connect"; some admin password is needed which seems to be an other one than that could be set within the BM5-menue
BM5 itself is working (n.radio plays) flawless
Service menue says: Bonjour status: not working
any clue/help?

You need to add Share Files in the sharing setting (so the Mac will be able to access a Samba Share). The login and password can be set on the BM5. You also need to set the directories that you want to have access to to be shared on the BM5. In the windows menu, select the folder (usually on E:) and left click and choose Share and allow sharing.
that should get you going.

I set the mac to share everything
but first no success - trying to connect via "network" -> "beomaster" I have to fill out name and password (same as going; "go to" -> "connect with server" where I put in the IP - BM is found);
using my setting which I choose within the service menu I do not get access;
than I tried BM-USER and it worked
so thanks - upload is still working
