Hello,

From superficial reading it looks like the monitor from LG (series C7) is identical with the unit delivered from B&O.

Would it work to buy the Sound Center from B&O and a LG C7 series tv separately? The price suggest a massive saving.

How difficult are these to combine and any limitations? Knowledge on this topic is interesting.

It might techically work, it might not. Eitherway the dimensions of lg’s c7 are different to the b&o version. So in that sense they would most likely not physically fit together. Iam not even sure b&o would sell it to you without the tv bit, i would guess not.

They are listed as two different parts for the dealers.

However, I think it is more a problem of software - the displays/tvs are a slightly modified version

for use with the Beoremote and the cooperation with the SoundCenter (menus etc).

They even have a ‘BO’ behind the typenumber.

Still waiting for someone to do the test....in order to check it ——— to probably disappoint some users ;-)
