e8 pairing with Samsung Note 8

Hi all

I bought a pair of e8’s this week. First pair didn’t work B&O tech support said charge wasn’t holding so new pair and I have the following.

 

1.     Charge to green

2.     Tap right bud once, turns on to a blinking white light and stays blinking

3.     Hold both down to get blinking blue and attempt to pair with my Samsung Note 8. Stays blinking blue but shows connection but no sound.

4.     Then goes back to blinking white and nothing

Normal 0 false false false EN-US JA X-NONE

5.     HELP

You could try to do a factory reset by following these steps:

 

- Go to your Note 8 Bluetooth settings and unpair E8.

- In your Note 8, go to Settings -> Apps -> Select BeoPlay app, storage and clear data (not cache).

- Make sure have at least 10% of battery in your E8, also turn off Battery Saver from Note 8.

- Take the E8s out the storage, and turn them on by tapping one click on the right earbud.

- After you see the white light blinking, tap and hold both earbuds until right earbud starts to blink red and blue, after this, they will turn off.

 

Lastly, return them to storage like 10 secs, and then try to do the pairing procedure again, like they were new.

Let us know if this makes the fix.
