Just spotted a listing on Amazon - used from £138uk !!

I have three of these hefty things. One signed copy(mine forever)  and then one each, unsigned, of the 75th & 80 year versions.

Am I sitting on megabucks, or are these prices way off beam?

They are worth what someone will pay. I also have an autographed one (I do wonder if the unautographed are rarer!) and it is also signed by a number of other B&O luminaries - from 2006. I seem to remember that these were very cheap to buy and were usually given to valued customers. My one win on the prize draw was one of these and as I had one I donated it to another Beoworlder.

Hi DJ

When Spark to icon was available to order there were two parts numbers. One was standard and the other hand signed by Jens Bang. I also have a coup,e of genuine hand signed books plus a coupe of standard books. Like you I also have the original brown covered book "From vision to legend" which is also hand signed.

Needless to say my hand signed copies will never be parted with. Are we naive to thing that these will be passed down like family heirlooms Wink

Hope you are keeping well and have solved the conumdrum of what to do that week at the end of June this year.

Regards

Opman

Hi Nick,

Hope all is well.

I am almost certain that they will not become 'heirlooms'.   Doorstops, perhaps.

June will be different this year - I have now officially retired from visits to Worthy Farm.   21 years, 18 actual events, aged 50 - seemed to me the stars aligned and it was a suitable time to stand down, dignity (almost) intact and with no bad memories.

Alternative, smaller scale event with friends.    In our group, there will be a 30, 40 and 50 birthday this year, so we are heading to Hull (almost) for a tweedy knees up.   http://www.beverleyfestival.com/

Peter - 2006 / 7 was an interesting Beo-time, and was (I think) when you visited King Street - with Lee and a few other Beoworlders.
