Hello all. New to Beoworld. After having read a few glowing reviews I have purchased a pair of S45-2's for what seemed a good price. Unfortunately, I did not learn of the woofer magnet issue until after purchase. I would guess this has been covered somewhere here, so if you can point me in the right direction, many thanks. The posts I have read suggest preventive gluing of the woofer magnet. I am not very technically knowledgeable, and would appreciate it if there were some pics, or a drawing of exactly where to place the glue. This assumes that somehow they arrive intact, fingers crossed.Big Smile If not, well, I will cross that bridge only if necessary.

Sorry, rather long winded. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Provided your speakers arrive in good working order its wise to remove the woofers and apply epoxy glue as shown in this picture, if not its not the end of the road.....they are easily repaired.

Craig, thank you. That picture is very helpful.  From what I have seen here,  I am not sure it would be an easy repair for me. Stick out tongue  The folks who have posted their repair jobs seem quite a bit more skilled than me.  Hopefully, I can get away with just the preventative measure.

In any event, glad I found this forum. Lots of info, and people willing to help. Thanks again!
