it's a shame that B&O are not going with the flow of the big boys, it would make a lot of sense for B&O to become less proprietary me thinks in these troubled times

What makes you think they are not going to get in on this? I would have thought this was the reason why B&O have been recommending Cat 7 cabling over MasterLink for the past 3 years, and why they are looking to move away from ML for future products? Seems ideal.

As MartinW said.  What makes you think this isn't supported.  B&O have been using Atlona Matrix switches for a while.  Atlona are updating to HDBaseT, therefore it's supported and will work with any TV that perviously supported the HDMI matrix.  Unless I am missing something?

I actually can't think of another manufacturer that are up to speed on this and allow the TV to directly control the Matrix like B&O do, so rather than being behind, I would say they are ahead of the game.

but why keep it in the dark, and pretend it is some fabulous technology they have invented in house, why not just come out in the open and say this HDBaseT is the way to go, and we love it and are 100% behind it, is it a Danish thing to be so tight lipped :-)

I don't think $7500 USD for an Atlona Matrix Switcher is the way to go personally
