I have recently moved house and am trying to connect up my various B&O equipment. I have a BeoSound 3000 which was previously connected via a MasterLink system to my Beovision 6 TV and a DVD player. The two B&O speakers were connected via the TV control panel.
The BeoSound and speakers are now is a separate room without any MasterLink. When I try to turn the volume up or down, nothing happens. The sound button shows a "Use TV" message. How do I change this to allow me to operate my BeoSound as a separate entity?

Put the BS3000 in Option 1.
Beolink 1000: Sound-1-Store
Beo4 is a bit more tricky, so download the manual from BangOlufsen.com and see how it is done.

The BS3000 need to be in std.by to change the Option value.
Thanks, Jacob for your speedy reply.
I am not sure how to put my BeoSound into "stand" mode or how to find Option 1. Can you help?
I am not using the BEO4 control as this operates the TV in a separate building.
Jacob,
Thanks; I have followed your instructions having checked the reference manual it, so all working now.
