Owning Beovision 11 (55) I''m thinking about upgrading/enabling recording function.

What component should I be searching for and is it easily upgradeable without B&O technician ?

thx

I have the recording function in my BV11-46.

To my knowledge it is a specific HDD with some B&O configuration so you cannot plug in any HDD without the help of B&O.

You can not ‘upgrade’ the BV11!

There are those, who say, that ‘anything is possible’.

However - apart from the difficulties in providing the needed parts - I dare not think at the cost ;-(

There is a tv - and there is a BV

Aha - wasn't Aware of that

So it's either HDD/recording equipped from factory or bad luck ?

‘.....or bad luck’....if you say so.

What you could do, is to get an external tuner with recording function, and use that for recordings-only.

With a BV11 you easily can have that PUC’ed in order to use the Beo-remote with it.

Not the best solution - but maybe the second best ;-)

Hi,

It would be a cheaper(probably the only option) option to sell the current BV11, and find one with the HDD feature, a new or used dealer would probably help out as a TV with HDD doesn't improve value that much, some stores still have stock of 11-55
