General Forum

Hi peeps, I have been recently introduced to the world of B and O with a lovely gift of a 7-40 from a family member.
Granted, it has taken me a long time to learn and set up the TV but I am getting there now. I have learned how to program the different connections and also the remote.

All my inputs were working fine, I have my Xbox on a scart connection using v.mem, with full picture and sound and my free-sat box on DTV using an HDMI to DVI connection cable and RCA cable for the sound input. (The included long sound bar is awesome)

The problem I have, is that I currently only have sound from the free-sat box on the DTV option. I can not actually remember when or why the picture input stopped, but I have tried everything to enable the picture via the connections with no success. I know the free-sat box is outputting correctly as I can plug it straight into my monitor with success.

Does the 7-40 have history of blowing the DVI input board or am I missing something here?

I would welcome any help here please, as I may have missed something glaringly obvious?

By the way, thank you all very much for the information within this forum, as without it, I would not have worked out how to do anything on this machine Big Smile
