The steel blue looks awesome to me. I’m going to get me an A2, it’s such a shame they don’t do more colour options for that. I’m probably gonna find a second hand of the first version. The green one was beautiful, I’m just not sure about what i’m missing out on, when not getting the newer version. But then again i’ve heard the first one and it’s gonna make an awesome terrace speaker anyway

Hi Fidse, one of the noticeable differences between the A2 and A2 Active is that the latter has a USB-C charging socket, like the A1. The original A2 has a wall wart charger with a tubular charging pin.

And the A2 Active seems to come with a fabric strap as standard instead of the original’s leather.

I had an original A2 natural and lost it, so I’m facing the same dilemma : whether to buy an A2 (in blue!) or an A2 Active.

I’ve just got an A2 Active from B&O EBay. Refurbished at £159. New basically.
