My Beogram 3000 Acoustical is missing one of the two knobs for speed change. This is part pictured 94 below and also shown in the picture.

Part number in the SM is 2770059. If anyone has this spare part, please let me know.

Thanks

Ben

The operation to restore this rare turntable continues.

I am now looking for a replacement tone arm guide. This is the small plastic peg which sits at the bottom of the tone arm. I have a couple of replacement tone arms but not of the correct type. I understand there are three types, the most common being the small cylindrical black plastic type. The type I am looking for is found in the picture below and clips into the two sockets as shown in my picture below.

I also attach a picture of the peg in situ on a Beogram 3000 Thorens (picture courtesy of Beocentral).

Any one who has this part, please let me know.

That is my one - Andy T has it now. The arm is a standard B&O ST/L so is not as rare as the deck.

Thanks Peter. I know the arm is standard ST/L so hoping someone may be able to assist with this...

From my research, this arm seems to have been used on the early Beogram 1000s (four speed) versions and some of the slightly later ones with black trim.  Maybe a donor non-functioning BG1000 would be my best bet. I have a couple myself including spare tonearms but unfortunately one is the later peg and the other is also missing this peg!

I shall keep up the search!

Ben
