Apple tv3 and Puc BV6 HDMI

Hi,

I have bought a BV6 in 2010, a white one with HDMI. Still in love with it, for a bedroom it is still ok. I have hooked up an Apple TV3 and set the puc. Problem is that when I walk through the menu”s it jumps 2 positions to the right and to the left.

Are there multiple pucs released so I need new software? With the small white remote it works fine. I am not so confident on the puc cable, although new I have had it for maybe 10 years
