Hi,
I’m very happy user of Beogram 7000 (vinyls are back in trend aren’t they ? 8-) )
What started happening recently is that when I press PLAY to start playing new record cartridge moves only to the corner of record and instead of playing goes down off the record.
The only solution then is to press LIFT - move it manually with arrow buttons and then press PLAY.
Is there any easy fix to realign it or should I just get used to it ?
Where did you buy a record with a corner?
Anyway - there is an adjustment on the foot of the carriage for the set-down point.It's shown in the servicemanual.

The record is just regular one - no corners there.
