Hi, I'm extremely new to beocenters. I have a Beocenter 2200 and all of a sudden the tonearm wouldn't lower on to the record and now it won't even come far enough out to meet the record. Any help/ suggestions would be greatly appreciated !!! thanks :)

Hi, I've had the same problem! In my case a 'nose' of the lifter plastic part of the tonearm mechanism was broken. You can clue it by disassemble the arm mechanism - but watch out of the tiny cupper signal wires and reassemble very carefully not to break the nose again. Make sure you put it the right way back together, otherwise you have to disassemble again with big change to break it at the same time again (what happend to me). Good luck, Greg
