Hi There,

My left speaker gives a high sound when it is switching on (activated). It sounds like a loose connection or overvoltage. All electronics (the chassis) was replaced 6 months ago, and I was wondering if it somehow was related to that.

Any ideas?

Cheers

Anders

Too vague a description but a quick guess of the lower end of serious is can you check if you’re upper tweets are preforming?

obtain some frequency test tracks (L&R) if you can find and see if all tones come through correctly.

I lost an upper tweeter once and  (don’t think I heard it pop but) but on replacement I quickly acsertained the second upper was not performing as well as or equally as the replacement. I would uly alwayes recommend replacing them as a pair

if the tones are correct, it’s internal electronics. If not, replace faulty drivers

I have requested a service guy. The chassis was replaced one year ago, and it's most likely the issue.

In the neighbourhood of €1,000.00.

It must be repaired by an authorised B&O service guy. When it has been repaired it will be configured as it was originally.
