Dear all
I wondered if I could ask for some advice.
I have a BV10-40 in a 5.1 surround setup. BL8000s at the front and a BL2. For the rears I have a pair of 6000s which are daisy chained. I noticed last night that the right rear which is cabled to the BV10 is not switching on. Weirdly the right left which is daisy chained to the right rear is working.
I didn't get the chance to switch them around or test the BL6000 using the front power links, but will try that tonight.
All my cabling is below the floor and is now almost impossible to get to, so I'm hoping its an issue with the speaker itself.
Any thoughts greatly appreciated.
Thanks
Gary
Dear Gary,
Please can you make a few simple checks and post back the results, so that we can assist further:-
1) Please unplug and swap over the speakers - does the fault move with the same speaker or stay at the same cabling position regardless of which speaker is connected there?
2) Does the fault come and go if you switch the faulty speaker from left to right channel and back?
3) Are both speakers showing a red light, which turns green when the TV turns on?
We can then help you to diagnose the problem.
Kind regards, Steve.
Steve.

Thanks as always for your response. Answers to your questions below:
Swapped over the speakers, the fault travels with the speaker!
No the fault stays, leading me to conclude its the speaker.
No, I get a green light on the working speaker and a red on the speaker not working. The interesting part for me, is that the speaker still working does work when it's daisy chained.
I'm guessing it's a trip to the repair shop!
