I have 2 beolab 6000 speakers connected to a connection hub and then to my Samsung television.
I wanted to add a subwoofer to get an improved home cinema feel. Unfortunately at this stage I cannot afford a b&o subwoofer, I have found a bower and Wilkins PV1D secondhand sub.
Presently my speaker are connected to each other and then one cable out to the rj45 on the connection hub.
how should I connect the sub woofer please. What cables do I need.
nik
Hi nik,
Yes, you can add any non-B&O powered subwoofer (like the B&W PV1D) to this setup. Simply connect the cable in the link below from the spare Powerlink output on the second speaker (ie. the one at the far end of the chain) to the RCA input on the subwoofer:-

If your subwoofer has two input sockets, please connect both plugs on the cable, otherwise either plug can be used if the subwoofer only has one input socket (Please use the Line In sockets, not the LFE Sockets). Set the subwoofer volume to approx. 50-75% and then adjust it as required to match the level of your other speakers. The subwoofer volume can now be controlled automatically from the TV remote along with the other speakers.
Kind regards, Steve.
