Just tried to create a multi room group with two M3 (WiFi connection).

Works perfectly.

Then add a third M3 and... full of dropouts. Complete mess.

Then tried something different :

First start the BS35 (Ethernet connection), and then add the three M3 (WiFi connection) to the multi room group.

Works perfectly !

Huh?

Sounds like someone needs to be doing some "sneak circuit" analysis of the s/w.

I have another strange behavior with the M3 too:

- BS Moment is the the main source

- Press the upper M3 button to join the Moment

- no sound comes out of the M3 while the app is correctly showing it in the Moment group

- change the M3 source to another one, let’s say TuneIn, sound is correctly coming out of the M3

- join the M3 back to the Moment: sound is coming out of the M3 ... but not in sync

The only way to join the Moment back with a synchronized sound is to power off/on the M3

Btw: the M3 refuses to start if power off and on are too close, I have to wait several minutes to plug it back on the mains, anyone has observed this ?

Ticket opened with Beocare since one week, no answer yet or no care Stick out tongue

Yes, same with the BS35

No idea for the M3s because I never needed to do that, they work like a charm (even double press to join the BS35 is perfect)

Software update will fix it. Then nothing will work, but hey, it's at least consistent then. Smile

Press the upper M3 button to join the Moment

Do you « double press » this button to join in synchro?

If M3 is off, you need one press to join existing multi room experience. If M3 already is playing some of its own sources, you double press to join.

If M3 is off and everything else also = all standby, one press will activate the first source in the local list ( usualla netradio/TuneIn - on last played station).

Here is another one....that Jeff can add to his list of need ‘sneak circuit’ analysis.

My BV obvisiously runs on battery ;-)

Just one press to join the Moment that is the only source playing at that time.

Today I didn’t have issue Unsure, I have to wait for next occurence and make sure i write down the exact scenario.
